Mandatory Graduation Practices
There will be two, mandatory graduation practices for Seniors. These will be on Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9, at 8:00am, in the OPHS Auditorium. All students must participate in both practices in order to participate in the ceremony. Practices generally run an hour and a half to two hours and students should have their own transportation home immediately following practice as they are not allowed to remain in the building.

Student Arrival Time For Ceremony
Graduates must be in line, at the loading dock of EagleBank Arena, no later than 1:30pm. Students who are late will not be able to participate in the ceremony.
Parent Arrival Time & Entry Information
Parents will be able to enter EagleBank Arena at 1:30pm. EagleBank staff will assist with entry and staff will be around the arena passing out programs. For any assistance with handicapped seating, the arena staff will be on hand to assist. Balloons, face cut outs, noisemakers, etc are not allowed. Cheering for your graduate is encouraged and expected. Please do respect the student who is walking immediately after your own. Their families would like to hear their student’s name called and so please limit cheering noise accordingly.
There will be a bag check conducted on all guests coming to the event. No exceptions. In order to help enhance the contactless experience, EagleBank Arena is encouraging guests to not bring a bag. If a guest requires a bag for personal or health reasons, we strongly recommend that patrons bring something small and/or clear to expedite the screening process. Prohibited items include weapons, outside food or beverage, fireworks, balloons, noisemakers, nonservice animals, illegal drugs, laser pointers, luggage/oversized bags, flags/banners that could block someone’s view, any size pole or stick (medical aids such as canes/crutches are permitted), drones, bottles/cans/containers/coolers, skateboards/rollerblades/hoverboards, projectiles (frisbees, footballs, inflatable balls, etc.), and unapproved pamphlets/handouts/etc. EagleBank Arena reserves the right to prohibit any other item which is deemed unsafe or inappropriate, and will not check or store any prohibited item. The use of still cameras and video cameras at graduations is expected and allowed. However, attendees may only film from their seats. Standing in aisles or portals is strictly prohibited. The use of electrical cords, tripods, or selfie sticks is also prohibited.
Accessible Seating
EagleBank Arena provides ample accessible seating for patrons in wheelchairs as well as those who may have difficulty with steps. Approximately 400 accessible seats are reserved via signage for each graduation, and are available on a first-come, first-seated basis. When entering the building, you are level with row F, which is 12 rows from the floor. This row has no stairs to climb. Everything else in the building is up or down the stairs from this point, with railings in most locations. EagleBank Arena staff will place signs on rows E, F, and G, as a means of holding them for those patrons who cannot negotiate stairs. We ask that only one family member sit with the person who can't climb the stairs, as this seating is limited. The rest of the family can then usually find seating nearby in the section, a few rows above or below these concourse level rows. If a family member comes into the building in a wheelchair (that they brought with them), and they need to remain in the wheelchair for the event, EagleBank Arena has available wheelchair seating in each corner of the concourse. This space is extremely limited and will also require that no more than one family member sit with them in the wheelchair area. EagleBank Arena does not rent out wheelchairs. There are a few wheelchairs in-house which can be used to help transport patrons from the entrance to a seat but cannot be used by someone for the entire event. The main entries are wheelchair accessible; there are no steps or elevators to navigate. Accessible parking is available outside the South entry
Graduation Decorum
All students are required to wear their blue cap and gown ordered through Jostens. Caps may be decorated, but must be two-dimensional and must be pre-approved by an administrator at graduation practice. Gowns may not be decorated.
All students should wear dress clothes (dresses, skirts, or dress slacks are acceptable). Dress shoes should also be worn. Keep in mind that you will be walking up a ramp and down stairs when choosing your shoes. Ties are optional. Please do not bring purses, as they are not allowed by EagleBank Arena, or anything "extra" as you will not be able to carry them across the stage with you and we will not have staff on hand to collect and keep the items during the ceremony.
Ticketing Information
Tickets are not required for the ceremony and there is no guest limit. Arena staff will be able to assist with any handicapped parking or seating needs. If a guest requires the use of an ASL interpreter, please reach out to Mrs. Walton at waltonlb@pwcs.edu
