Osbourn Park administers the following SOL End of Course tests in accordance to State and Federal requirements.

Math
Federal ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) guidelines require that all high school students are assessed in Math at least once between their 9th and 12th grade years. Students that passed a Math SOL in middle school will still be scheduled to take a Math SOL that corresponds to their high school course work.
Algebra I

Algebra II
Science
Federal ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) guidelines require that all high school students are assessed in a specific Science course. Virginia selected Biology to meet this requirement. Students are typically enrolled in Biology their 9th grade year. All students that entered a Virginia High School at the beginning of their 9th grade year will be scheduled to take the Biology SOL at the conclusion of their Biology course.

Students will participate in the Inquiry Design Model locally awarded verified credit process through their World History I, World History II, or United States and Virginia History course. Senior students that have not yet obtained their verified credit for Social Studies will have the opportunity to attempt the End Of Course SOL for which they have passed the corresponding course.
