Our OPHS students have developed a wonderful repertoire of impactful and historical video montages that look at time periods and individuals, past and present, who have contributed to society. Week one looked at The Harlem Renaissance and you will be thrilled with the upcoming presentations! Please see the link to the Canvas page below:

Seniors: PWCS Mid-Year Transcripts: (FYI)

Mid-year transcripts are processed automatically at the end of the first semester. Mid-Year transcripts are sent to all of the institutions that the student has already requested an initial transcript and sent free of charge with no additional request by the student. The transcripts are processed mid-February once the school division has calculated semester grades, GPA and rank for the senior classes. If the calculations are completed by the division as expected, we should be sending out mid-year transcripts on February 11-12th.

Some of you may receive emails from your institutions requesting mid-year transcripts. Remember, we automatically send these to all the schools for which you have already requested an initial transcript. Colleges sometimes defer to senior year grades (first semester) for admissions decisions. Once they receive the transcript and match it to your application, you will see your college portal updated. This means it can take some time for the college to process all these documents and match them to your application even after we send them. Several colleges regularly take a long time to match the documents like GMU.
