Omega U is mentoring program that focuses on character, leadership, scholarship, and community service by exposing students to various careers, college lectures, STEM labs and lectures, and educational workshops utilizing the four Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

Omega U was founded at Potomac Middle School of Dumfries Virginia in 2011. We expanded our program to Potomac High, Freedom High, and George Hampton Middle schools in 2016, Henderson Elementary, Osbourn Park, and Colgan High schools in 2017, and Dumfries Elementary in 2018. Omega U proudly serves students from 3rd grade to graduating high school seniors in and around the greater Prince William County community.

The Omega U program mission is to partner with Prince William County Schools in mentoring and enabling students with the development of personal skills, strategies, and capabilities by focusing on pre-collegiate initiatives, career
readiness, and community service. The Omega U program provides over 25 annual joint events for all registered students from participating PWC and surrounding area campuses to include over 50 hours of community service projects within each school calendar year. The program is open to all students within PWC and surrounding
communities to participate in weekend activities that include community service projects, college campus tours, STEM labs and lectures.

Omega U is funded with the support of the George M. Hampton non-profit Foundation and donations from the community and members of Pi Lambda Lambda of Omega Psi Phi Inc., of Dumfries Virginia. To enroll, use one of the URLs below.
